The Directorate of Transport has compiled the monthly report of number of accidents that occurred and number of Challans issued for the month of October 2020.
As per the report there were total 185 road accidents occurred out of which North Goa 74 and South Goa 111.
18 Fatal Accidents i.e North Goa 08 and South Goa 10. Similarly 08 Grievous Accidents North Goa 03 and South Goa 05. Further 48 Minor Accidents North Goa 08 and South Goa 40 and 111 Non – Injury Accidents North Goa 55 and South Goa 56.
The total number of persons who lost their lives in road accidents were 19 North Goa 09 and South Goa 10. Also 13 riders, 04 P/Rider and 02 Pedestrian lost their lives in these accidents.
Similarly, 12 people were Grievously Injured North 06 and South 06 while 68 persons suffered Minor Injuries North Goa 13, South Goa 55. The number Challans were issued by the Directorate of Transport for the month of October 2020 is 556.
