Geneva, March 27 | Switzerland has reported 949 new cases of COVID-19, raising the total cases in the country to 10,714, the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) said.
The death toll in the country increased from 103 to 161, the FOPH said on Thursday, adding that to date, 91,400 tests have been carried out in the country, of which 14 per cent were positive, Xinhua reported.
According to the Swiss government’s latest response measures, starting from March 26, Swiss companies affected by the epidemic can obtain bank loans guaranteed by the government.
Earlier this month, the Swiss government has decided to provide 42 billion CHF ($43.6 billion) for economic relief so as to prevent small and medium-sized enterprises from bankruptcy.
Bangalore, April 02, 2020 : The nationwide lockdown to combat Coronavirus outbreak in the country has led to severe difficulties for the poor and homeless people. The school have undertaken the initiative to prepare food for 300 underprivileged families every day and distribute in and around Sarjapur area with the help of Sarjapur police station. While distributing the food, the school authority also followed the social distancing norms and ensured that necessary precautionary measures like masks and gloves were used in the entire process to provide clean and hygienic food to the people.
